We are a micro-homestead, farm, & nursery,
encouraging families in Shelton Washington, the South Sound, & throughout the Pacific Northwest to create the tiny family farm they’ve been dreaming of.
We specialize in edible plant starts and seedlings for sale. Perfect for your garden or homestead.
Papa Tanner, our co-founder & father of our family operation has a background in horticulture & has a degree in Horticulture – Landscape Design, Build, & Maintenance. He has been a hobby gardener since he could hold a shovel with his mother.
He has also, since starting college, gained hands on experience in the nursery & landscaping industries. When not working at Waddling Family Farm, he’s designing landscapes with Nature Perfect Landscape & Design in Olympia, WA.
With all that expertise it’s no wonder our yard is also our experimental & expo garden. Where we share effective & efficient growing practices to help you grow for the highest yield. Since we are working with such as small space in our own yard, we tend to use maximum yield practices. As we expand to other locations as part of our nursey & farming operation we will highlight additional homesteading practices.
Mama Megan, co-founder & mother of this family operation has an education in catering & event management and firmly believes in fostering community building opportunities.
Because of her event experience we also will host educational classes & small events that we will announce here on our website. Those events may be hosted at our homestead, but they also will be hosted throughout our community.

We also have our duckies strategically positioned beside the sidewalk so you and your loved ones can say Hello, while they feel safe/hidden behind St. John’s Wort & other low lying shrubs. We are located at:

Occasionally our farm stand on the corner of Summit Drive & Bellevue Avenue here in Shelton will have our excess farm fresh duck eggs, produce, herbs, and fresh cut floral arrangements by our oldest daughter, Berry.
